Il nostro presidente Denny ha trascorso ben quattro giorni all'aeroporto di Francoforte per un tour fotografico che, al momento, rimane il più "corposo" fuori dei nostri confini nazionali ad oggi fatto dai nostri spotter.
Di seguito un breve trip.
L'aeroporto di Francoforte ha da sempre accolto i suoi turisti "Spotter" coccolandoli con tre spotting point ufficiali e la possibilità di fare dei tour interni accompagnati da guide e cobus organizzati.
I tre spotting point sono locati uno di fianco alla pista 07L-25R a nord, uno all'incrocio delle 2 07C-R con la 18 e l'ultimo sulla zona est, a ridosso dell'autobahn, sulle testate 25L e 25C.
Da tutti si gode di ottima visuale, senza ostacoli come recinzioni e pali. Ci sono cestini pubblici e panchine, rialzi per permettere di fotografare al meglio possibile e senza creare accavallamenti fra gli spotters, anche quando c'è maggiore affluenza.
Francoforte è uno dei tanti aeroporti europei che favoriscono in maniera concreta la nostra passione. Basti citare, a mero titolo di esempio, l'aeroporto di Zurigo o quello di Bruxelles o, per andare ancora più ad est, quello di Riga in Lettonia.

Spotting Tour at Frankfurt AirportOur president Denny spent nearly four days at Frankfurt Airport for a photographic tour, which currently stands as the most extensive one conducted by our plane spotters outside our national borders.Below is a brief summary of the trip.Frankfurt Airport has always welcomed its "spotter" tourists by pampering them with three official spotting points and the opportunity to take guided internal tours accompanied by organized guides and cobuses.The three spotting points are located next to runway 07L-25R to the north, at the intersection of runways 07C-R with 18, and the last one on the eastern side, near the autobahn, on the thresholds of 25L and 25C.All offer excellent visibility without obstacles such as fences and poles. There are public bins and benches, raised platforms to allow for optimal photography without creating overcrowding among spotters, even during peak times.Frankfurt is one of many European airports that actively support our passion. Examples include Zurich Airport or Brussels Airport, and to venture further east, Riga Airport in Latvia.
